About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist Leader to join our team at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Psychological Professions Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the education and training of our workforce across the Trust and wider system.

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Clinical Psychologist Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of clinical psychologists and other staff to deliver high-quality education and training programs. You will work closely with our Divisional Leads for Psychological Professions to champion opportunities supporting the diverse representation and expansion of our workforce.

Requirements

  • Entry-level qualification in applied psychological therapy/mental health/social welfare profession or equivalent and demonstrable practice in this field.
  • Registered with professional body or regulatory body as appropriate to psychological therapy discipline.
  • Considerable experience of working as a registered Practitioner psychologist, or equivalent psychological applied practice, including post qualification experience in the designated function with which this post is concerned.
