About the Opportunity

This is a unique chance to join CRG TEC as a RAN Technical Strategy Expert and contribute to the development of the 3- and 5-year RAN strategy plans for one of the UK's major mobile network operators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the key requirements for Radio RFI/RFPs
  • Evaluate vendor responses in detail, identifying gaps and strengths
  • Challenge and propose amendments to Radio's current plans and thinking
  • Work closely with vendors, reviewing technical specifications and documents
  • Provide expert support for internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Subject matter expert level of experience in RAN technologies and the vendor ecosystem
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex technical ideas to audiences of varying technical background
  • Strong understanding of Radio architecture for 4G/5G ORAN and traditional RAN networks
