About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SHEQ Coordinator to join our team at Supreme. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives.
  • Ensure all incidents and non-compliances are accurately recorded and reported, and that root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for SHE-related matters, providing technical advice and guidance to employees and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain risk assessments, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other relevant documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of SHE-related data, including incident reports, audits, and inspections.
  • Communicate and train employees on SHE-related matters through the use of Tool Box Talks, regular meetings, and other training programs.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to reduce risks and improve SHE performance.
  • Collaborate with SHE advisors to develop and implement group-wide SHE initiatives and projects.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to employees and stakeholders on SHE-related matters.
  • Support Factory Management Teams in the development of site-specific SHE action plans and progress audits.
  • Measure and report improvements to the SHE Management System.
  • Facilitate the review of site-specific procedures and assessments to ensure compliance with group SHE requirements.
  • Implement new initiatives introduced by the group SHE department as per the SHE roadmap.
  • Facilitate H&S committees on site and ensure effective roll-out and monitoring of minutes and action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental permits and licenses issued by enforcing authorities.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (to be achieved within 12 months)
  • IEMA Foundation course in Environmental Management (desired)
  • Membership of IOSH (desired)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Numerate and literate
  • An effective collaborator able to influence a wide cross-section of people
  • Flexible and able to work individually or as part of a team
