Role Overview:

As a Specialist Teaching Assistant focusing on sports within SEN provisions, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the educational and physical development of children with special educational needs and those from disadvantaged backgrounds. In this role, you'll:

  • Deliver Tailored Learning Programs: Assist in designing and implementing tailored lessons that integrate sports and physical activities, designed to meet the unique needs of each child, fostering both their academic and physical development.

  • Collaborate on Inclusive Events: Work with colleagues to plan and implement inclusive sports-related events, such as adapted sports days, tournaments, and fitness challenges, creating a supportive and enriching environment for all students.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field.
