About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Ultra. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and components for our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems and components for our products
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements
  • Collaborate with suppliers to select components and resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain electrical schematics and documentation
  • Contribute to the development of manufacturing information and test specifications
  • Work with equipment in a lab to demonstrate basic functionality and take the equipment through qualification and verification stages

Requirements:

  • Educated to HNC level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good familiarity with MS Office, including Excel
  • Rapid learner, flexible and adaptable engineer willing to undertake varied tasks
  • Understanding of electrical schematic capture and drawing review
