Key Responsibilities
- Conducting baseline habitat surveys, assessments, and reporting
- Working collaboratively with our team to deliver quality projects to clients
- Communicating effectively with clients to ensure project success
- Preparing technical reports, including ecological constraints reports, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments, and protected species reports
Person Specification
Essential:
- A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
- Graduate-level education in a relevant subject
- Good working knowledge and experience of ecology, legislation, and survey techniques, including protected species surveys and mitigation
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to produce accurate technical reports
- A proactive attitude to managing time, finding solutions, and ensuring work is delivered on time and to the required standards
Desirable:
- CIEEM membership
- Experience of Biodiversity Net Gain assessment and UKHABs
- Strong botanical skills, including NVC and Condition Assessments
- One protected species license, such as Great Crested Newt or Bats
