Our client, a reputable accountancy practice based in the UK, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from small businesses to large corporations.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing financial statements and tax computations for clients
- Managing client relationships and providing exceptional customer service
- Training and mentoring junior staff members
- Assisting with statutory audits and ad-hoc projects
- Staying up-to-date with accounting and tax changes that impact clients
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Qualification in accounting (AAT, ACA, or ACCA) or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in accounting software (Iris, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks)
- Competitive salary up to £35,000 per annum
- 22 days annual leave + birthday off + additional days for every 2 years of service
