About the Role
Nuffield Health Tees Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our team on a part-time, bank contract basis. As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to a diverse caseload, working with leading practitioners and experiencing new practices, equipment, and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service, working within the department, on the ward, and in theatre.
- Collaborate with experienced professionals to develop policies and procedures.
- Supervise and develop junior staff members.
- Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
Requirements
- High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
- A caring nature, with the ability to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.
- A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent, meeting the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- A postgraduate qualification in an area of specialization.
- Radiation Protection Supervisor training and/or qualification are desirable.
- Post-registration experience relevant to the role.
- Excellent communication and team working abilities.
