Connect Appointments is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team in Livingston. As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving goods and equipment within our production and manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts in a busy industrial environment, ensuring safe and secure movement of goods and equipment.
  • Stack and unstack large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets using a forklift.
  • Move goods from storage areas to loading areas using a forklift.
  • Unload deliveries and relocate goods to designated storage areas.
  • Ensure forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions.
  • Regularly inspect forklift equipment for faults or damages.
  • Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods.

Requirements:

  • Valid forklift license.
  • Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Knowledge of warehouse H&S requirements.
  • Ability to itemize and record stock for inventories.
