Embark on a rewarding career as a Field Service Technician Assistant
As a vital member of the Field Services team, you will be responsible for the installation, calibration, and upkeep of Detectronic's advanced flow and level monitoring systems within the wastewater infrastructure, primarily in the Cornwall and Devon regions. Occasional travel to other areas of the UK may be necessary.
This is an entry-level position, and comprehensive training will be provided.
Key Qualifications:
- Ability to work safely and efficiently as part of a two-person team, installing and maintaining equipment on-site, troubleshooting issues, and taking appropriate actions with minimal oversight.
- A valid UK driving license, held for a minimum of 2 years, is essential due to the vehicle size you will operate.
- Comfort with outdoor work in various weather conditions and in confined spaces.
- Capability to access manholes at residential or commercial locations, requiring a polite and respectful demeanor.
- A hands-on, resourceful, and practical approach to tasks.
Role Highlights:

- Opportunities for overnight stays away from home, with a generous allowance for working away.
The training curriculum encompasses, but is not limited to, Health, Safety, and Environmental training, CSCS, Confined Space Entry Controller (medium risk), NRSWA (Unit 2: Signing, Lighting, and Guarding), and First Aid at Work (3-day certification).
