Care Team Leader Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Runwood Homes. As a Care Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents.

About the Role

As a Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Care Assistants and ensuring that our residents receive person-centred care that meets their individual needs. You will work closely with the Home Manager and Deputy Manager to maintain accurate records and build strong relationships with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Care Assistants to deliver high-quality care to residents
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and residents
  • Assist the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in maintaining the highest standards of care
  • Administer medication and carry out medication audits

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent
  • Experience in person-centred care planning and caring for people with dementia
  • Ability to lead a team and maintain high standards of care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
