Job Title: Commercial Security Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Security Supervisor to join our team at ISS Facility Services. As a key member of our operational team, you will be responsible for managing a team of security officers and ensuring the highest level of security and safety at our customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day supervision, coordination, and scheduling of the security team
  • Work closely with clients, customers, and colleagues to resolve queries in a timely and effective manner
  • Attend and manage emergency situations, acting as the incident commander to ensure the security team effectively supports and resolves any potential emergency
  • Maintain rotas, holiday arrangements, and sickness
  • Ensure all security areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Deliver security services, including access control, patrolling, CCTV operation, and incident response
  • Assist the management team and client by carrying out investigations in accordance with ISS policies
  • Ensure all duties are carried out in an honest, ethical, and professional manner
  • Report directly to the Security & Risk Manager
  • Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits

Requirements:

  • SIA Door Supervisor Licence
  • SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) licence (must be able to achieve within 3 months of employment)
  • Excellent team-working, organisation, and interpersonal skills
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • High standards of personal appearance and presentation
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Good computer literacy
  • Experience supervising a security team
  • Motivated by playing a part in continued improvement and team development
  • Strong attention to detail and observation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
