As a Software Sustainment Engineer at Roke Manor Research Limited, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our National Security product. Your expertise in software development, Linux, and network protocols will be essential in addressing complex technical challenges and ensuring the continued success of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain software features for our National Security product
  • Collaborate with the services team to address technical issues and improve product performance
  • Work closely with customers to understand new requirements and provide technical consultancy
  • Provide technical training and support to internal teams

Requirements:

  • Strong background in software development, including languages such as C++, Python, or JavaScript
  • Experience with Linux, including Red Hat, Centos, or Rocky
  • Knowledge of network protocols and socket programming
  • Understanding of web-based technologies, including React and Django
  • Experience with SQL databases, ideally PostgreSQL
  • Testing and diagnostics using tools such as Robot Framework, Jenkins, or Gitlab
