Commercial Gas Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at MEC Humber Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and installing commercial gas systems nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake reactive repairs and maintenance of new and existing commercial gas appliances, including servicing and repairs to commercial boilers and other appliances.
  • Install new gas appliances, such as heating systems, warm air heaters/tube heaters, and new gas pipeline installation.
  • Undertake the installation of new domestic/commercial heating systems in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, industry best practice codes and practice, and legislation.
  • Pipework purging, testing, and commissioning.
  • Provide information to allow records to be updated following service and testing and issue Landlord Gas Safety record using electronic or manual documentation.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
  • Knowledge and experience working on commercial plumbing systems.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial gas systems, equipment, and controls.
  • CSCS (preferred).
  • Driving Licence (required).
  • Commercial Gas Qualification (COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1) (required).
