Marine Systems Specialist – Competitive Salary


This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a leading organization specializing in navigation technology, dedicated to developing advanced navigation and mission systems for diverse clientele.

The company is currently seeking a Marine Systems Specialist to enhance their team.

The ideal candidate will deliver System Engineering Services for various Maritime Surveillance Systems initiatives and Naval Bridge Systems projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate comprehensive technical documentation, including interface specifications, requirements, Statements of Work (SoW), and verification/validation reports.
  • Assemble, configure, and test systems while maintaining in-depth product knowledge to assist Service Engineers with setup, commissioning, and repairs.
  • Analyze requirements for system-level specifications, develop technical proposals, and execute installations as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:

  • HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  • Proficient in marine electronic systems, encompassing radar, electronic navigation charts, navigation aids, and steering controls.
  • Experienced in constructing, configuring, and troubleshooting PC systems and networks.
Candidates should be willing to work offshore for brief periods and travel domestically and internationally. Eligibility for SC Clearance is also required.
