About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Setter to join our team in a busy, fast-paced subcontract machine shop. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming and operating CNC lathes with live tooling, as well as carrying out dimensional and visual checks using appropriate measuring equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program from drawings and edit on the machine
  • Program set and operate CNC Lathes with live tooling
  • Carry out dimensional and visual checks using appropriate measuring equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace

Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship in engineering and previous experience in the industry
  • Ability to read, edit, and write programs
  • Familiarity with Fanuc controls
  • Competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Experience working with tight tolerances and deadlines
  • Flexible attitude towards working hours
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
