- Sort and Separate Recyclable Materials: Efficiently sort and separate recyclable materials, such as plastics, metal, paper, and glass, following established procedures and quality standards.
- Conduct Quality Checks and Inspections: Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to remove contaminants and ensure the purity of recycled materials.
- Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to prevent malfunctions and ensure optimal productivity.
- Collaborate with Maintenance Team: Collaborate with the maintenance team to report and troubleshoot any mechanical or technical issues.
- Monitor Recycling Processes: Monitor recycling processes to minimize waste, increase efficiency, and improve throughput.
- Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Record Production Activities: Keep accurate records of production activities, including weights, quantities, and material types processed.
- Identify Opportunities for Process Optimisation: Continuously identify opportunities for process optimisation and contribute ideas for improving recycling operations.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Process Operator in a recycling plant or similar environment.
- Knowledge of Recycling Processes: Knowledge of recycling processes, equipment, and machinery.
- Familiarity with Recyclable Materials: Familiarity with different types of recyclable materials and their sorting requirements.
- Ability to Follow Standard Operating Procedures: Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and remove contaminants from recyclable materials.
- Basic Mechanical Aptitude: Basic mechanical aptitude to perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
