Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for a contract role based in a hybrid work environment. This position is with a globally recognized client that specializes in pioneering technologies aimed at delivering sustainable, safe, and competitive solutions to address critical energy needs.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary focus of this role will be to ensure quality assurance within a significant project, emphasizing supplier quality, supply chain oversight, and internal quality management.

  • Management of Multiple Systems:
    Effectively supervise and coordinate various systems.
  • Strategic Planning:
    Formulate and implement quality strategies that align with project goals and schedules.
  • Collaborative Efforts:
    Engage closely with other Quality Assurance Leads to maintain and enhance quality benchmarks.
  • Supplier Quality Assurance:
    Conduct audits of supplier quality.
    Oversee First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in collaboration with suppliers and internally.
    Inspect and manage specialized processes including coatings, non-destructive testing (NDT), and surface treatments.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience managing supplier quality programs in highly regulated sectors such as aerospace, defense, or marine.
  • Expertise in relevant standards such as ISO9001, AS9100, DEF-STAN, or MIL-STD.
  • Extensive background in applying quality methodologies, including AQAP.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
  • Experience conducting internal audits to ensure adherence to compliance and quality standards.
