We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Associate to join our team at the University of Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality research outputs, as demonstrated by a strong publication record in high-profile scientific journals.
Familiarity with the existing literature and research in the field of Myeloma or cancer biology is desirable, but not essential. The ideal candidate will have a passion for problem-solving and a strong track record of presenting work at meetings and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams.
This is a full-time fixed-term appointment for 2 years, providing an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their skills and contribute to our research goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality research in the field of Myeloma or cancer biology
- Develop and implement research plans, including experimental design and data analysis
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to achieve research goals
- Present research findings at meetings and conferences
- Contribute to the development of research proposals and grant applications
Requirements:
- PhD in a relevant field (e.g. biology, chemistry, physics)
- Strong publication record in high-profile scientific journals
- Experience in drug-related research and presentation of work at meetings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
