Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Work collaboratively with developers of varying abilities, providing guidance and mentorship to help them reach their full potential and enhance the team's skills.
  • Code Optimization: Assist in identifying, reporting, and implementing improvements to large sections of code to ensure maintainability and efficiency.
  • Feature Development: Support the delivery of features and functionality required by our Senior leadership team, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain and provide technical understanding for delivering features and functionality, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively raise issues to the Lead Developer when necessary, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Technical Discussions: Engage in conversations and provide opinions on topics such as design patterns and architecture, contributing to the development of innovative solutions.
  • App Publishing: Possess knowledge of publishing apps to relevant app platform stores, ensuring smooth deployment and user experience.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Skills: 4+ years of working knowledge of React Native, with demonstrable examples of code on previous projects or open-source code repositories.
  • Programming Languages: Experience in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a solid understanding of Restful APIs, source control (git), and Agile practices.
  • Software Development: Working knowledge of software development practices and methodologies.
