Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality, health, safety, and environmental management within our facilities maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement a Comprehensive QHSE Management System: Design, implement, and maintain a robust QHSE management system that ensures compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct Regular Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Provide Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to operational teams on QHSE matters, including risk assessment, incident investigation, and corrective action implementation.
  • Develop and Deliver Training Programs: Develop and deliver training programs to raise awareness of QHSE policies and procedures among staff and contractors.
  • Monitor and Analyze QHSE Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze QHSE performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Liaise with Regulatory Agencies and Clients: Liaise with regulatory agencies, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and maintain positive relationships.
  • Investigate Incidents and Accidents: Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Stay Abreast of Changes in QHSE Legislation: Stay abreast of changes in QHSE legislation, regulations, and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in Tender Processes: Participate in tender processes and client meetings as required, providing QHSE expertise and support.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments to integrate QHSE considerations into business processes and decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar QHSE management role within the facilities maintenance or related industry, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Skills: Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and environmental management systems and standards, strong leadership skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, analytical mindset, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
