About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ambulance Care Assistant to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our Patient Transport Service, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Assess patient needs and provide appropriate care and support during transportation.
  • Operate and maintain company vehicles, adhering to strict safety and maintenance protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and transportation.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Committed to providing exceptional patient care and service.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse patient populations.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Physical fitness to perform patient handling and transportation duties.
