About the Role

The IB is embarking on a Digital Transformation journey. Reporting into the Head of Digital Assessment, the Digital Assessment Innovation Lead will play a key role in transitioning our assessments into a digital format.

This role focuses on identifying and spearheading areas of market research within the digital assessment/education landscape, analyzing technological industry trends and their intersection with subject-specific domains and assessment methodologies. This includes both formative and summative assessments.

The Digital Assessment Innovation Lead will champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring that our digital assessments are engaging, effective, and meet the evolving needs of educators and learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research on emerging trends and best practices in digital assessment.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in our assessment processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including subject matter experts, instructional designers, and technology teams, to develop and implement innovative digital assessment solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry standards and best practices related to digital assessment security and accessibility.
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive strategy for digital assessment within the IB.
Qualifications & Experience

We are seeking an individual with a strong understanding of educational assessment principles and a passion for innovation in the digital learning space.

A relevant qualification (digital education/assessment/instructional design) is highly desired but not required.
