Swimming Teacher Role

We are seeking a skilled and patient Swimming Teacher to join our team at Leatherhead Leisure Centre. As a Swimming Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering safe and effective swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to individuals and groups, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all customers.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse learners, including children and adults.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe poolside environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and GLL's Safeguarding Policy.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote the Swim School and encourage customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • STA Award or Certificate level or Swim England Level 2 qualification.
  • National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers & Coaches (ideally).
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, as well as Child Protection Policy.
