Job Title: 7.5t Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced 7.5t driver to join our team at Bestway Edinburgh Bellevue. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering goods to a wide range of independent retailers within the local area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the depot team to ensure all orders are loaded correctly and delivered on time.
  • Complete multi-drop deliveries within the local area, adhering to specified timeframes and ensuring accurate recording of paperwork.
  • Manual handling of stock on and off your vehicle, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading.
  • Ensure all deliveries are received correctly and payment is received, maintaining excellent customer service standards.
  • Provide accurate and timely updates to the depot team regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.
Requirements:
  • A valid Category LGV C1 driving licence.
  • A Driver Qualification Card (DQC).
  • Your own tacho smartcard for commercial driving.
  • Experience in multi-drop driving, with a strong understanding of the local area.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • A flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to adapt to changing delivery schedules.
