NHS 24 is seeking a highly experienced medical leader to provide professional clinical leadership and expertise in urgent and emergency care to our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise to our urgent and emergency care services.
- Influence the development and implementation of safe and effective clinical models and new ways of working with health and social care across Scotland.
- Collaborate with territorial and national Health Boards to deliver high-quality emergency medicine services.
- Support the development and delivery of digitally enabled services to improve patient care.
- Participate in a Medical on Call rota, providing remote support to our services.
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (FRCEM) or equivalent.
- Current registration with the GMC, including the specialist register for Emergency Medicine.
- Significant experience in delivering emergency medicine services.
- Strong leadership, influencing, and change management skills, with a track record of leading teams in collaboration with different disciplines and organizations.
- Experience in major health informatics interventions and clinical planning.
- Demonstrable achievement in a clinical leadership or management role in a relevant health or social care environment.
NHS 24 is a National Health Board providing a 24-hour service for clinical assessment and referral, health advice, and information to the people of Scotland.
