About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years Foundation Stage team at a dynamic and welcoming primary school in Northampton. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care, safeguarding, and well-being of young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment.
  • Provide refreshments and ensure that hygiene, health, and safety standards are met.
  • Set up the play space, including moving furniture and play equipment.
  • Work within the framework of the preschool's policies and procedures and the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Develop and maintain good communication with all members of the preschool and parents.
  • Model good practice.
Requirements
  • Ability to adapt and respond to the individual needs of the student.
  • Good behaviour management and organisational skills.
  • SEN experience.
  • DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a DBS through Hays.
