Asbestos Surveyor Job Opportunity

£30,000 - £34,000 + Benefits + Overtime + Career Progression + Further Qualifications

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team in the West Midlands region. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a leading environmental consultancy on major sites, gaining further qualifications and progressing their career.

About the Role

The Asbestos Surveyor will be responsible for conducting management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys on a wide range of sites, including retail, MOD, and Blue Light Services. They will develop relationships with clients, colleagues, and members of the public while working on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting surveys to identify asbestos-containing materials
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Working on highly sought-after contracts in the West Midlands region
  • Ensuring compliance with UKAS accreditation and company policies

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the Asbestos Surveyor must have:

  • BOHS P402 qualification
  • At least 3 years' experience in asbestos surveying, particularly in R & D surveys
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent interpersonal, reading, and writing skills
