About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional leader to oversee the delivery of high-quality care and education for children aged 2-5. As our EYFS Lead, you will work closely with the headteacher to plan and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of every child, ensuring a solid foundation for their future learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the EYFS team, including the provision for 2-year-olds, to ensure excellent standards of teaching and learning.
  • Plan and deliver a tailored curriculum that is inclusive, engaging, and supports early development milestones.
  • Ensure smooth transitions between the 2-year-old provision and the 3-5-year-old EYFS curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, identifying areas for individual support and development.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment.
  • Maintain high safeguarding standards, ensuring the well-being of every child in your care.
  • Contribute to the school leadership team, helping to drive the future direction of the school.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial EYFS experience, ideally including provision for 2-year-olds.
  • A deep understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop your team.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with a passion for making a difference in young children's lives.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
