Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team at Forbo Movement Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing front-line maintenance support to our production departments, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exhibit a sound Health & Safety work ethic at all times, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Utilize knowledge and experience of sound engineering practices to offer maintenance support to production departments daily.
  • Perform Predictive Maintenance (PPM) across the site as required, ensuring optimal equipment performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks on Site Services, including compressed air systems, HPHW systems, hydraulic systems, package boilers, cooling towers, and refrigeration plant.
  • Fault find and rectify electrical and basic mechanical faults in a modern production environment, including PLC control systems.
  • Make adjustments as required and install, fault find, and rectify AC & DC drives.
  • Be involved in process improvement projects designed to reduce downtime and improve departmental efficiencies.
Training and Development

The successful applicant will receive an onsite familiarisation program, implemented across the first six months of their employment. The selection process will include an interview and psychometric testing.
