Audit and Accounts Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Manager to join our team at PBR Executive Search Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of assignments, ensuring that they run smoothly, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assignment Management: Plan and manage assignments effectively, ensuring that appropriate resources, timetables, and budgets are in place.
  • Team Leadership: Set work for team members, develop junior team members, and provide coaching and support.
  • Client Communication: Manage communication with clients to ensure clear expectations and introduce team members working on assignments.
  • Quality Assurance: Review work of team members and self to ensure that files prepared for director review are completed in accordance with firm's procedures, technically robust, and ready for client issue.
  • Technical Expertise: Prepare technical assessments of required accounting, audit, and tax treatment based on relevant legislation and standards.
  • Project Management: Involve in specific and ad-hoc projects, including budgeting and due diligence.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and manage relationships with clients to ensure they receive necessary advice and support on a timely basis.
  • Mentorship and Development: Assist with mentoring and development of junior team members.
  • Best Practice Promotion: Promote best practice across the firm through training and effective communication.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously look for opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the team and its systems.

Requirements:

  • Professional Qualifications: ACCA/ACA/CA
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of IRIS, computer skills such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience: Gained experience in practice
