Spheres operates as the investment office dedicated to Europe's foremost founders, family entrepreneurs, and investors. We are in search of a dynamic Founder's Associate to aid in the expansion of our venture, with a focus on alternative investments, ecosystem development, fundraising initiatives, and long-term strategic projects.

Spheres has successfully attracted investments from a diverse range of European founders, leading alternative investment firm partners, and established families, including their Next-Gen successors, all united by the vision of revitalizing Europe's prominence.
Role Description
We are looking for an entrepreneurial individual to join our emerging investment firm and collaborate closely with our founders. The founding team comprises professionals with diverse backgrounds in alternative investing, entrepreneurship, and wealth management, including founders of billion-dollar enterprises and senior executives from top-tier investment firms and financial institutions.
As a Founder's Associate, you will gain comprehensive exposure to various aspects of an investment office and contribute significantly to Spheres's growth. You will engage in multiple projects, primarily focusing on investment activities and ecosystem development, while also co-leading long-term strategic initiatives in partnership with the founding team. This role is ideal for a proactive self-starter with a keen interest in cross-asset class investments, eager to cultivate a personal network within the European entrepreneurial landscape.
Depending on your growth trajectory, there may be opportunities to evolve into a full investing, platform, or operational leadership position within Spheres.
Key Responsibilities
(A) Investment Activities
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities across venture, growth, and private equity sectors, including both direct and fund investments.
- Conduct market research, industry analysis, and financial modeling to support investment evaluations.
- Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
(B) Ecosystem Development & Fundraising
- Support the growth of Spheres's ecosystem by leveraging the team's network and various data sources to identify promising European entrepreneurs across diverse domains and stages.
- Act as a key investor liaison, syndicating targeted investment opportunities and organizing curated events based on a thorough understanding of our investor base's preferences.
- Assist in fundraising efforts by engaging with current and prospective investors, monitoring ongoing processes, managing our CRM, and preparing relevant materials.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a differentiated framework to streamline, dynamically track, and enhance Spheres' ecosystem and fundraising initiatives.
(C) Additional Responsibilities
- Co-lead long-term strategic initiatives in close collaboration with the founding team.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Participate in operational workflows where additional support is required.
Qualifications & Skills
- A university degree from a prestigious institution demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; an MBA is also applicable.
- Prior experience in an asset management role (private equity/venture capital fund, wealth management, or hedge fund) and/or advisory capacity (investment banking, consultancy), ideally in an investing or client-facing role.
- An independent and proactive mindset, comfortable tackling unstructured challenges.
- A strong interest in cross-asset investing and adaptability.
- A collaborative spirit, eager to build networks and partnerships.
- An entrepreneurial attitude with a willingness to engage with a variety of new challenges.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in German, Italian, or other European languages is advantageous.
