Job Summary

Randstad Care is seeking a skilled and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our client's Assessment Team in North Yorkshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, and developing effective plans to ensure their well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs, taking into account their social, emotional, and educational requirements.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to address the needs of children and their families, in collaboration with other professionals and agencies.
  • Provide guidance and support to families, helping them to access resources and services that meet their needs.
  • Work closely with other members of the Assessment Team to ensure that children's needs are met in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Experience of working with children and families in a social care setting.
  • Strong assessment and planning skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and other professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and service users.
