About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join our team at MacGregor Black. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and driving the development of our engineering capabilities.


Key Responsibilities


  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize workload and drive project delivery.
    • Coach and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Implement predictive maintenance tasks to optimize equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
    • Recommend changes to preventive maintenance tasks to drive continuous process improvement.
    • Develop and implement reliability techniques and processes to drive improvements.
  • Project Management
    • Actively participate in major repair projects and ensure timely completion.
    • Deliver 100% compliance of scheduled preventive maintenance through our CMMS system.
  • Process Improvement
    • Propose and implement improvements and innovations to drive business growth.


Requirements


  • Industry Experience
    • FMCG industry experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Education
    • Educated to ONC level or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
  • Technical Skills
    • Electrical or Mechanical bias is preferred, but not required.
  • Leadership Experience
    • Experience leading a small team is required.
