Job Title: SEN Primary Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Primary Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and delivering personalized lessons tailored to the diverse needs and capabilities of students with complex requirements.

About the Role:
  • Teach students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs.
  • Develop and implement imaginative and effective teaching methodologies, such as visual aids, sensory exercises, and adaptive technologies.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and other professionals to ensure a well-rounded approach to student development and progress.
  • Design and implement personalized learning plans (EHCPs) and regularly monitor student advancement.
  • Cultivate a nurturing and supportive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and self-assurance in every student.
Requirements:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Primary Education.
  • Demonstrated experience working with students with complex needs.
  • Profound understanding of various complex needs, including ASC, sensory processing disorders, communication challenges, and learning disabilities.
  • Flexibility and patience to address the individual needs of each student and tailor a personalized learning path.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external entities.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) for working with children.
