About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team that is committed to delivering excellent services to our community. As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of social workers and providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
- Developing and implementing effective strategies to improve outcomes for children and families
- Collaborating with other teams and agencies to ensure a comprehensive approach to service delivery
- Managing and developing a team of social workers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver excellent services
- Ensuring that all services are delivered in accordance with relevant laws, policies, and procedures
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Considerable experience working with children and families in a statutory social care environment
- Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of leading a team of social workers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders
- Knowledge of relevant laws, policies, and procedures, including the Children Act 1989 and the Care Act 2014
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a commitment to delivering excellent services to our community
