Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Considerable experience working with children and families in a statutory social care environment
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of leading a team of social workers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, policies, and procedures, including the Children Act 1989 and the Care Act 2014
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a commitment to delivering excellent services to our community
