We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in an outstanding school in Wandsworth.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support and assistance to students with SEND, specifically those with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) and associated difficulties.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and personal growth.
- Assist in the implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) to ensure students receive the necessary support.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a supportive and nurturing atmosphere.
- Relevant experience working with students with SEMH, SLCN, and associated difficulties is highly desirable.
- A compassionate and patient approach towards supporting students' individual needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Relevant qualifications or training in supporting individuals with SEND is highly desirable.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (Protocol Education will support with the application process).
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, during term time.
