Rapier Employment is partnering with a reputable, family-owned national haulage company to find a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 driver.

Key Requirements
  • At least 12 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience
  • No more than 9 points on your driving license
  • CPC Card
  • Digi Card
  • Full UK Driving License (Category C+E)
Job Responsibilities
  • Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, documenting findings and reporting any defects
  • Ensuring loads are properly secured and ready for delivery
  • Delivering products to customer sites, following delivery instructions
  • Transporting palletized flat-packed goods to various locations across the UK
  • Most driving takes place during the day with early starts
Working Conditions
  • Shift hours: 17:00 - 19:00 (typically)
  • Working days: Monday-Friday
  • Hourly rate: £17.50
