Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join our dynamic team at Bespoke Recruitment Services. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of projects, ensuring the safety and compliance of fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, Maintain, Service, and Commission Fire Alarm Systems: Ensure that fire alarm systems are installed, maintained, serviced, and commissioned in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct Regular Testing and Inspection: Conduct regular testing and inspection of fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Diagnose and Troubleshoot Faults: Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in fire alarm systems and undertake necessary repairs.
  • Complete Detailed Service Reports: Complete detailed service reports and documentation for each project.
  • Provide Technical Support: Provide technical support and advice to clients regarding fire alarm systems.
  • Ensure Safety Standards: Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest safety standards and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay up to date with the latest fire safety regulations, technologies, and best practices.
  • Participate in On-Call Rota: Participate in an on-call rota 1 in 14 for emergency call-outs.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer, with a strong understanding of fire alarm systems and their components.
  • Relevant Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in fire alarm engineering or electrical engineering.
  • Knowledge of Fire Safety Standards: Knowledge of BS 5839 and other relevant fire safety standards and regulations.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of work.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Travel Requirements: Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to various sites.
  • CSCS Card: CSCS card is advantageous.
