Job Title: Solicitor - Court of Protection Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Solicitor to join our Court of Protection team, specializing in Health and Welfare law. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a mixed caseload across various matters, providing high-quality advice to clients, and working in a compliant and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of Court of Protection matters, including health and welfare cases
  • Provide expert advice to clients on funding streams for packages of care, including continuing healthcare and local authority funding
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Supervise the casework of junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
Requirements:
  • 2+ years' PQE in Court of Protection law
  • Strong understanding of health and welfare law, including funding streams and local authority funding
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a compliant and efficient manner
