Senior Oracle Engineer

VIQU Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Engineer to join their team on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract with the possibility of becoming a permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing cloud-based IT services, proactively managing maintenance tasks, and developing strategies that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and optimize cloud-based IT services to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Proactively manage maintenance tasks to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operation.
  • Develop strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Resolve complex third-line issues and conduct research to implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with vendors to implement effective solutions and develop innovative, cost-effective, and flexible solutions.
  • Assess emerging technologies and contribute to the organization's long-term IT strategy by continually refining processes, policies, and tools.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience, particularly with Oracle Fusion Cloud systems, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion migration projects.
  • Proficiency in managing cloud platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, and Atlassian is highly desirable.
  • Relevant certifications in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or Oracle Fusion Cloud services are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft Windows.
  • Experience with Backup Lifecycle Management; experience with Veeam (desired).
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure (desired).
  • Basic experience with Linux systems (desired).
