We are currently in search of a dedicated Cost Estimator to become a part of their vibrant team.

In this role, you will contribute to a significant new construction project valued at over £100 million, working with one of the largest corporations worldwide.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Mitigate risks in all facets of your responsibilities, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations.
  • Exhibit technical expertise and perform your duties to the highest standard.
  • Gather multiple bids from the market for all domestic work packages to demonstrate optimal value to your commercial manager.
  • Prepare comprehensive inquiry documentation, outlining project scope and contractual details for precise pricing by the supply chain.
  • Evaluate supply chain bids alongside the site team to ensure all tasks are fully priced, reducing financial or construction risks.
  • Collaborate with senior commercial personnel to review contract documentation, ensuring compliance with insurance, bond, and warranty stipulations, aiming to finalize contracts prior to the commencement of work.
  • Coordinate with senior commercial staff to ensure that the main contract requirements are communicated to the supply chain, with warranties and subcontracts established before site activities begin.
  • Compile interim valuations and variations in accordance with contractual obligations, ensuring adequate detail for client evaluation and certifying completed works for payment.
  • Oversee outstanding sales invoices, ensuring prompt debt resolution by liaising with accounts and client representatives.
