Procurement Solutions Architect P2P

Location – Manchester, UK

Hybrid working 2 days in the office, 3 days WFH

Lonza, a global leader in life sciences, is seeking a skilled Procurement Solutions Architect P2P to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and overseeing procurement solutions within our S/4HANA environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of procurement solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and IT strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Oversee the implementation of procurement modules in S/4HANA, ensuring seamless integration with other modules.
  • Coordinate with project managers to develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Lead workshops and design sessions to ensure a shared understanding of the solution.
  • Establish and enforce standards, best practices, and guidelines for procurement processes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for procurement-related issues, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Lead efforts to continuously improve procurement processes and architecture within S/4HANA.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation, specifically involving procurement processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, particularly the procurement modules.
  • Proficiency in integration technologies and methodologies within SAP landscapes.
  • Strong understanding of procurement business processes, including sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and contract management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
