Group Risk Consultant

XPS Pensions Group is a leading UK consulting and administration business specialising in the pensions and insurance sectors. Our Group Risk team is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Group Risk Consultant to join one of our vibrant offices with hybrid or remote working.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous experience in a similar role, where they have gained knowledge and experience in advising and administering group risk arrangements for a portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of group risk clients, advising, sourcing, arranging, and implementing group risk arrangements, and providing support to colleagues within both the pensions teams and group risk consulting team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of group risk clients
  • Advise, source, arrange, and implement group risk arrangements for the client portfolio
  • Undertake day-to-day administrative support for the group risk client portfolio
  • Provide support to colleagues within both the pensions teams and group risk consulting team
  • Generate and share ideas for new business development
  • Support and participate in growth and business development activities
  • Manage, participate in, or assist with ad-hoc projects as necessary
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a group risk role, with direct experience in advising and administering group risk arrangements for a portfolio of clients. Strong IT skills, competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications, are also essential. Ideally, the individual has completed GR1, with knowledge of Defined Contribution pension, Defined Benefit pension, and Group Risk arrangements.
