About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled bioinformatician to join our multidisciplinary team working across the Division of Medicine. The successful candidate will have experience in breeding and managing transgenic mouse colonies and their use in experimental models of inflammation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Interrogating scRNAseq data to align with biological processes uncovered so far
  • Collaborating with Professor Marko Nikolic and Professor Arne Akbar to investigate the post-resolution phase of immune activity
  • Developing and implementing computational methods to analyze large-scale biological data

The ideal candidate will have a strong publication track record, evidence of the ability to sustain independent research, and an established reputation in their field.

About You

We are looking for a passionate and creative scientist who is driven by the desire to discover new things in immunology. The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in flow cytometry, ideally spectral, alongside multidimensional analysis
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as R or Python
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
