Company Overview:

We are collaborating with Harnham, a prominent player in the financial services sector, to identify a Senior IFRS9 Reporting Consultant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the deployment and validation of a comprehensive suite of IFRS9 models.
  • Managing the monthly IFRS9 reporting cycle and executing necessary modifications to various models.
  • Mentoring junior team members to improve their comprehension and application of IFRS9 standards.
  • Communicating changes in Expected Credit Loss (ECL) and their underlying factors to senior management and finance teams.
  • Implementing modifications to models while ensuring thoroughness in their application.
  • Providing strategic insights and direction on extensive IFRS9 initiatives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of IFRS9.
  • Expertise in advanced SAS, including the capability to develop and manage macro variables.
  • Experience in operating and modifying IFRS9 models and conducting monthly reporting.
  • Proven track record in implementing changes to IFRS9 models.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate IFRS9 models and results to senior stakeholders.
