About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Academic Mentor to join our team at The Language Gallery, a contemporary institution dedicated to providing a diverse range of programmes. As an Academic Mentor, you will play a vital role in guiding and coaching our Business Management students, providing academic and pastoral support to help them succeed in their studies.

The successful candidate will have a subject specialism in Business Management, with expertise in areas such as accountancy, finance, and economics. You will have experience of academic and administrative management, and a degree or higher in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to Business Management students, including guidance on academic and administrative matters.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with students, providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and assessment strategies.
  • Participate in departmental and institutional committees, contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
