Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fabrication Team Leader to join our team at Birmingham City Council. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacture and dispatch of high-quality windows and doors, including fire doors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead production operations to ensure targets are met within agreed delivery lead-times and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Production Supervisor to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for production staff.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize resource allocation.
Requirements

  • Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures and protocols.
