Job Title: Recycling Operative

Gap Personnel is recruiting for a Recycling Operative on a temp to perm assignment based in Devon. You will be joining a leading Waste Management Services company.

About the Role:

As a Recycling Operative, your duties will include:

  • Performing sortation duties on a conveyor belt and sorting recycling according to specifications.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized recycling area.
  • Complying with safety and health regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintaining quality standards.
About You:

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Working knowledge of health and safety.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to be on their feet for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects for extended periods of time.
Working Hours & Pay:

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 0700am – 1700pm, and receive £12.00 per hour + weekly attendance bonus.

As a Recycling Operative, you will be a pro-active team worker, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. You will operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business, whilst abiding by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
