About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Reception Teacher to join our team at a wonderful school in Bromley. As a Reception Teacher, you will be part of a supportive team that provides a supportive network both on site and across the federation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach the primary curriculum to a class of Reception students
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of all students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve high rates of progress for all students
Requirements
  • QTS (or equivalent) and an undergraduate degree
  • Successful experience of teaching the primary curriculum
  • Good understanding of current theory and best practice in teaching and learning
  • Good subject knowledge of core National Curriculum
  • Good understanding of child development and progression
  • Understanding of effective strategies for managing behaviour within the classroom
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
